The father of Fritz Tugendhat, Emil Tugendhat is born in Brno on 14th of October 1867. The Tugendhats did not have their own companies but were the co-owners of the Brno wool factories Feldhendler & Co. and Max Kohn, having been involved in trade with cloth for several generations.
