The building of the Moravian Municipal Life Insurance Company on Mozartova street (Ernst Wiesner) is built in 1921-22. The Neo-Classical Revival symmetry of the windows and the high socle reflect the simplicity of means of Loos. Part of the roof was adapted for a garden, in all probability the first roof garden in Czechoslovakia. These principles were employed in even more pronounced forms by Weisner in the building for the Czech Union Bank on Beethovenova street with both structures making up a city planning whole.
The terrace homes by Jindřich Kumpošt (1891-1968) on Nerudova street from 1920-21 were a turning point in the approach to tenement buildings.
