The film is based on the novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux and is still one of the favourite themes adapted into a film. The 1925 Hollywood adaptation, which will be screened in the Villa Tugendhat garden, has become the most famous version of the silent era. The phantom of the opera has a unique atmosphere thanks to the excellent rendering of the underground. The Phantom's love for the beautiful Christine, expressed in his kingdom under the Paris Opera, is a clear embodiment of a feeling whose essence was the main theme of almost all films in the silent era.
