This year's Christmas film screening will take place on 15 December, presenting Casablanca from 1942. The story brings the audience to African Casablanca during World War II where an American Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) opens a nightclub. Various guests include a fighter against fascism, Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid) and his wife Lisa (Ingrid Bergman). After a while, Blaine recognises Lisa as his former amour.
The film was directed by Michael Curtiz did not lose its attractiveness even after more than 70 years; which is proven by numerous international awards, such as two Oscars for best screenplay and directing.
The film will be screened in English with Czech subtitles.
