Wednesday 26 February at 8 p.m. and Thursday 27 February 2014 at the same time will feature another one of the series of film screenings for the public in the main living room of Villa Tugendhat.
The Blue Angel (Der Blaue Engel, 1930) made director Joseph von Sternberg and especially the actress Marlene Dietrich stars of the first rank, laying Hollywood at their feet. The Blue Angel is a cabaret, where the venerable and respected Professor Rath transforms under the influence of the singer Lola into a man gradually losing the last bit of human dignity.
