On Monday, 7 December 2015, visitors in the technical basement of the Villa Tugendhat witnessed the opening of a photo exhibition by Miloš Budík, which this doyen of Brno photography took in the Villa Tugendhat in 1956. The exhibition coincides with Budík’s retrospective exhibition in the Brno House of Arts (9/12/2015 – 7/2/2016), accompanied by a representative monograph of the artist’s works.
During the opening of the exhibition at the Villa Tugendhat, a publication titled MILOŠ BUDÍK. VILLA TUGENDHAT. 1956 was also officially launched. It was published by the Villa Tugendhat Endowment Fund in collaboration with the Brno City Museum and the Villa Tugendhat Study and Documentation Centre in three language versions (Czech, English, German).
