The evening of 19 November will feature another regular film screening at the Villa Tugendhat with the opportunity to see a film adaptation of the novel by Erich Maria Remarque, All Quiet on the Western Front. This timeless picture from 1930 is in addition to a very strong story line an excellent example of film technology of the time when the Villa Tugendhat was built. The story of a group of German recruits, who in the course of the story increasingly lose their youthful idealism, was at one time considered a very controversial work, as evidenced by the fact that it was banned in countries mobilizing for the First World War.

For the convenience of the audience the screening will take place already at 7 pm, with a reprise at the same time a day later, on Thursday, 20 November.

The ticket price (Wednesday or Thursday) is 200 CZK / person.
