A regular cycle of screenings in the Tugendhat Villa will be dedicated to the now legendary film The Blue Star Hotel on 25 and 26 March 2015. The masterpiece by director Martin Frič from 1941 features Nataša Gollová, who personified the role of Zuzanka, the heiress of the Blue Star Hotel and Oldřich Nový in the role of industrialist Vladimír Rychta Rohan. The stellar trio is completed by Adina Mandlová like in the legendary movie Kristián.

The story of this romantic comedy begins at the moment when the heroine Zuzanka finds out that the Blue Star Hotel, which she inherited, is not the famous and successful Blue Star Hotel in Prague 1, but a faded and crumbling hotel in Prague 4. When she enters this hotel, she finds three young men who secretly sleep at the hotel, but the story does not end her of course.

Due to great interest in the film screenings in recent months, we have prepared screenings on two days in March, both screenings begin in the glass room of Villa Tugendhat at 19.30.
