Children
The Study and Documentation Centre in Villa Tugendhat in cooperation with Gabriela Kolčavová and Roman Franc is organising a photography workshop for children from the age of 8 to 12 from 2:30 pm to 6 pm.
The workshop is designated for children interested in experiencing both the magic of traditional photography as well as thematically working with the remarkable space of Villa Tugendhat. Children will have the opportunity to briefly become 'architects' themselves and additionally be able to develop photographs in the original dark room of Fritz Tugendhat within the spaces of the Villa. Through the use of the paper collage technique and period photographs, children will create small rooms placed into the floor plan of the Villa using their own imagination. The completed collages will then be lit up in the dark room using the photogam technology. Original large format photographs developed on photography paper in the dark room will consequently come about. The children will be able to take their 'works' home with them as a memento.
The workshop will include an inspirational children's tour of the Villa.
The number is limited to 10 children. Price CZK 200.
