During the 2020 Music Marathon Festival, the famous mezzosoprano Magdalena Kožená and her husband, the world-famous conductor Sir Simon Rattle, will perform together in Brno for the first time. In a song recital, compiled exclusively for this evening from pieces by Czech authors, Simon Rattle will accompany Magdalena Kožená on the piano. The concert takes place in the living room of Villa Tugendhat. Co-organizers include Brno – a UNESCO city of music, the Concentus Moraviae festival and Villa Tugendhat.
The concert will begin at 21:00 and in addition to the villa itself, it will be possible to watch it online and in cinemas. In cooperation with Aerofilms, you can watch it in the courtyard of the Governor's Palace in the “Scalní letňák” cinema.
