19:00 Resounding installation: Monahan: A Piano Listening to Itself – Brno Variation (Villa Tugendhat – garden)
Monahan’s composition is based on music by Leoš Janáček and Henry Cowell, who briefly met in Brno. Fragments of their works will sound from two pianos placed in the garden. The sound of the compositions will also involve random activity of nature, especially when the wind enhances the effect of the piece by vibrating the strings, like Aeolus’ harps.

21:00 CONCERT (only performance): Harder: Grigio Due (Villa Tugendhat – glass room)
Sound installation by German composer will sound through the extraordinary space of the glass room for several dozen minutes. Listeners will have a  chance to enter into the unexpected space of sounds, coupled with a  view of the darkened Brno.

Saturday 15 June  2013

21:00 CONCERT: Bosetti, Abrahams: We Who Had Left (Villa Tugendhat – glass room)
