In cooperation with Open House Basel, Open House Brno and professor Carsten Krohn we present two icons from the thirties in parallel: The Villa Tugendhat of Mies van der Rohe in Brno and the Mies van der Rohe House, also called House Lemke, in Berlin.

Get unique insights in two residental houses from the classical modernism and follow the dialogue of the Architecture Historian Carsten Krohn and the Architect and Director of the Villa Tugendhat Iveta Cerna. Both will be directly on the spot. They are knowing the specific qualities of these houses, knowing what makes them an important example of modernism architecture and they will reflect their significance for people then and today.
