A guided tour with a children's programme took place on 28 May 2012 in Villa Tugendhat for pupils of class I. B of Sirotkova Primary School in Brno.
Over the course of two hours, the first graders toured the interiors of the Villa including the technical facilities. They learned how to distinguish both chairs and armchairs according to the design of the architect, learned about the structure of the various material surfaces and finally learned about the ground plan of the structure.
After the tour, the children spent time playing in the garden and painting.
As of September 2012, the children's programme for schools will be taking place at regular intervals.
