Friday 29 June 2018 from 6 p.m.
The traditional introduction to summer in the garden of Villa Tugendhat will take place on Friday, 29 June 2018. Starting at 6 p.m. a colourful programme will be prepared for the Summer, Swing and Cinema event participants. The main part of the programme will consist of teaching the basic steps of swing dancing followed by an opportunity to dance to live swing music. On the technical floor of the building, guests will be able to buy refreshments and various kinds of drinks. Those who will bring a blanket will be able to dance in the garden of the villa as well as enjoy food and drink on the lawn, followed by a film screening.
The whole programme will culminate at approx. 21:30, when the Great Gatsby (directed by Baz Luhrman, USA, 2013) will be screened on the large windows of the main living area of Villa Tugendhat using back projection.
