From 6 March until 27 April 2014, a travelling exhibition of Vila Tugendhat takes place at the Museum of the City of Bratislava, in the Old Town Hall exhibition hall.

The exhibition, prepared by the Study and Documentation Centre of Villa Tugendhat already took place with great response and success in Chicago, at the Royal Institute of British Architects RIBA in London and the Czech National House in New York – The Bohemian National Hall in Manhattan in 2012. In 2013 the exhibition was presented in the Netherlands, the Institute of Urban Design at Hogeschool Utrecht, the Czech Centre in Rotterdam and the Department of Architecture of the Technical University of Eindhoven (more here).

In Bratislava, visitors can see the exhibition for the first time in the Czech version. The accompanying programme will include a lecture by the Villa Tugendhat Director Ing. arch Iveta Černá and a film by director Rudolf Chudoba “Fate Named Tugendhat” will be screened.
