The so-called Small Villa was built in Svitávka in 1906. The commissioner was Alfred Löw-Beer, the father of Grete Tugendhat. The villa was designed by the Brno city architect Josef Nebehosten (1852-1921) renowned in particular for his reconstruction and expansion projects and realizations of the main Brno railway station over the years 1902-04.
