Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Machovec, CSs. is Emeritus Professor at Mendl University in Brno. He is the father of Czech landscape architecture and a leading figure in the field. He was additionally a former close colleague with the garden architect Markéta Roderová-Müllerová, co-author of the garden in Villa Tugendhat.
